Auto Battle (@ac)

Auto Battle is a server feature: type @ac on a hunting map and the server attacks with your own skills and moves your character to the monsters. It climbs ropes and ladders and drinks your potions. It's allowed and it's the only automation that is. Third-party bots are still bannable (see Rules).

Quick start#

1. Go to a regular hunting map with monsters around your level.
2. Put HP and MP potions in your Use tab.
3. Type @ac. The chat confirms which skill it uses and how much time you have left.
4. Type @ac off to stop, or @ac status to check your remaining time.

Rewards#

While Auto Battle is on, kills give 50% of the normal EXP, drops and mesos. Burning-map bonuses still apply, so a quiet map is still the best place to leave your character.

The settings menu: @ac settings#

Your choices are saved per character and apply immediately.

• Attack skills. Pick which of your skills it may use, or let it choose.
• Potions. Choose the HP and MP potion and the thresholds. By default it drinks HP below 50% and MP below 30%, using the potion you carry most of.
• Monsters. Mark monster types to avoid, for example ones that hit too hard.
• Movement. How it gets around the map. Walking is the default.
• Start/stop and reset to default.

How it moves#

• It walks along platforms to reach monsters and drops down to monsters below.
• It climbs ropes and ladders and jumps to platforms within jump height.
• If your class has an up-jump, grapple, double jump or teleport, it can also reach higher platforms that no rope leads to.
• Pressing a movement key pauses it. Stand still for a few seconds and it resumes by itself.

When it stops#

Message	What to do
"only works on regular hunting maps"	Towns, boss rooms and event maps aren't allowed. Pick a normal field.
"Nothing spawns on this map."	Choose a map with monsters.
"No attack skill of yours can be used on auto battle yet"	Learn an attack skill first, or level up a bit.
"you have no HP/MP potion left"	Refill your Use tab, or pick an easier map.
"stopped: you died"	Pick an easier map or set higher potion thresholds.
"time for today is used up"	It resets at midnight UTC.
